Acupuncture and Laser Therapy Help the Heart, Lowering Heart Rate

Research shows the benefit of acupuncture on heart rate. A recent randomized crossover research study examined acupuncture's influence on heart rate. Researchers from Biomedical Engineering in Anesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine in Austria and researchers from China working together showed that stimulating Baihui (GV 20) with needle or with red laser (658 nm) lowered the heart rate.

In dogs & cats, lowering the heart rate will help them feel calmer.
