Well, STXS is Back -- In After Hours Trading..
It can be made up for nicely in the After Hours Session today -- I think the original Buy order was around $1.45; it just hit $1.70 on light volume. Nonetheless, it is still trading at a bid/ask price of roughly $1.57. I am going to strongly advocate the Gekko Rule on this stock because of its greater potential tomorrow in recovering such losses....tomorrow.
BUT, better safe than sorry.
If you can sell half of you're shares at $1.60; +/- .03 After Hours (based on making ten percent intraday); Hold on to the other half or all of them for the Great Gamble you can go to bed and wake up just thinking about that $$.
My Gekko Rule eliminates the 'Greed is Good' notion from clouding you're judgment -- but still gives you a chance to be Greedy and richer than hell by keeping half of you're shares to live and trade another day for a greater profit.
Its a gamble, and not perfect. But it is better than losing everything vs. making 10%+ in one day with half of you're shares, then possibly making 50% the next day or a few days later....
You cannot corner the Frozen Orange Juice Market such as Randolph and Mortimer Duke attempted to do so in the movie Trading Places, but you can take on assholes like them as Dan Aykroyd and Eddie Murphy did...and win by being smarter.
Just a few random Pearls of Wisdom...
