An American in Paris
The 2017 Ford GT is one of those amazing mixes of art and science. Built to compete at Le Mans against Ferrari like it's predecessor, the new GT has a big shoes to fill. For released this series of official images that were just so good, I had to share them.
The GT was built for performance, every part of the car is designed to increase handling capabilities, acceleration, braking, and efficiency. While it does share a few styling cues of the original Ford GT, this GT is a whole new breed.
The new GT packs a twin turbocharged Ecoboost V6 punching 600 horsepower to the rear wheels, which are wrapped with sticky Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Inside a F1-style steering wheel features integrated driver controls and sits in front of a configurable digital instrument cluster with driver focused data clearly displayed.
