Weiss American Issue Field Watch

Weiss Watch Company is proud to announce it is releasing more of its fully American made movement CAL 1003, which is manufactured and assembled in its Los Angeles studio. The newest release of CAL 1003 is inside of the Limited American Issue Field Watch in Blue, available online now. The series is limited to 200 pieces with the first ten available for immediate delivery, CLICK HERE to reserve yours.

The Limited American Issue Field Watch is American made using the CAL 1003 movements, with a beat rate of 21,600 BPH and a hacking feature that stops the sweep second hand when the crown is pulled out for setting.  Our founder and master watchmaker Cameron Weiss builds each CAL 1003 by hand from start to finish one at a time. For a limited time only, Mr. Weiss himself will custom engrave each timepiece with a complimentary engraving. Mr. Weiss selected blue for the next release of CAL 1003 as a reminder of the deep dark blues that can be found in the Pacific Ocean, since he grew up diving and surfing in it.

The CAL 1003 movement is rhodium plated and visible through an open case-back enclosed in sapphire crystal. The revised dial design is machined from naval brass and hand-painted in blue with latte accents proudly declaring our Los Angeles, California heritage. The case is machined from solid 316L stainless steel with sapphire crystals on the front and back. A handmade brown leather strap with tonal stitching is supplied by Horween, the oldest operating tannery in America. This Limited American Issue Field Watch Blue Dial is built by hand, individually numbered, and delivered in our custom-built California pine wood box, also built by hand in the USA.
