Playboy: Halsey

Powerhouse singer and songwriter Halsey makes her Playboy magazine cover debut for the September/October 2017 Music Issue. No topic is off limits as she answers Playboy’s 20Qs and is more outspoken than ever on race, reproductive freedom, her new album, and how she emotionally invests in her fans.

"I've always collected vintage Playboy issues. 5 feet from my bed there's a 4-foot canvas of a 1971 vintage cover that I wake up to every single day!” said Halsey. “It's truly an honor to be featured on the cover of a magazine that has always been the embodiment of sensuality, intelligence, humor and class."

Playboy’s Music Issue also includes features with soulstress Jhené Aiko, Chicago rapper Vic Mensa, indie artist and fashion trendsetter Børns, and The War on Drugs’ frontman Adam Granduciel on breathing new life into rock and roll. Moreover, this issue’s Heritage piece uncovers the history of Hugh Hefner’s music label, Playboy Records, in Going Vinyl.
